Learning to mend and darn

March 2024, it's not all spinning, weaving or dyeing! Cecilia and Graham Hewitt came along to Mungrisdale to pass on their considerable mending skills to Guild members. What a joy to learn how to darn our beautiful but worn woolly items giving them new leases of life.

Show and Tell November 2022

This year's exhibits did not fail to impress! We had beautiful and fascinating examples of collaborations, workshop pieces, work for exhibitions and stunning personal learning and fabulous finished projects and even a mini disaster to talk about! Total joy all round. And at the Guild meeting nobody stops you from feeling as well as looking.

Challenge February 2022

2021's Guild Challenge theme was entitled "Bright Intervals" and the members did not hold back! Beautiful results were exhibited at February's meeting, showing members' varied and substantial skills.
