Goodness, that year went quickly. 2025 was a year we spent much time thinking of Heather Seddon, a long time member of the Guild and our chair in 2024 right up until a few short weeks before she passed away. Her family offered her stash of crafting items for sale with funds going to the hospice who cared for her and for a wildlife charity she personally supported. Heather’s stunning collection of work was exhibited at three venues across Cumbria throughout the year. Naturally the Challenge theme for 2025 was going to be “Heather” and the fibre supplied by the Guild to all members were two shades of purple Corriedale and as always our members did not fail to provide a wide variety of beautifully crafted pieces in Heather’s honour. Here we showcase the work presented in January 2026; enjoy!
