Learning to mend and darn

March 2024, it's not all spinning, weaving or dyeing! Cecilia and Graham Hewitt came along to Mungrisdale to pass on their considerable mending skills to Guild members. What a joy to learn how to darn our beautiful but worn woolly items giving them new leases of life.

September 2023 Meeting

This was a vibrant and mixed meeting with a dazzling display of work from the Summer School, some fleece preparation practice, ancient Greek drop spindling, dizzing, spinning, weaving and plenty of chat and joy!
