Thirteen guild members had a wonderful day at Higham Hall on Sunday 28th July 2024. Learning to mend and darn

March 2024, it's not all spinning, weaving or dyeing! Cecilia and Graham Hewitt came along to Mungrisdale to pass on their considerable mending skills to Guild members. What a joy to learn how to darn our beautiful but worn woolly items giving them new leases of life.

Wendy Stanger Lampshade making Workshop

April 2023 This month workshop participants had the great pleasure of playing with silk, interesting plant fibres, flowers, leaves, coloured silks and yarns to create lampshades or beautiful art pieces with wallpaper paste. Simple and fun but so very effective.
